The other day while I was cleaning the kitchen, McKenzie yelled downstairs to me and told me that her foot was caught in the railing. Brandon was just walking in the door and heard McKenzie say "my foot is caught". Anyway, I knew McKenzie was okay because she wasn't crying and I yelled back that papa will be right there to help her. Brandon then yelled up and said, "Where are you McKenzie?" McKenzie then replied, "I'm right by my foot!" We burst into laughter! It was too funny!

Our New Joy

As some of you may know, I tend to have big babies, so my doctor induced me a week and a half early to hopefully avoid having a 10 lb baby. (Branson was a week early and was 9lb 2oz)
So, after only 6 hours of labor, Sydney Jean Moak was born on July 30th. She was only 7lb 1oz and was 19 3/4 in.
To us, she was extremely small and short! However, we absolutely LOVE her! Although we're not getting a perfect nights sleep now, she seems to be the best sleeper we've had at this age. We're still getting used to holding her, as she's super small. We feel like we have too much arm to hold her. The other kids just love her and can't stop kissing her!!

Growing Up

Well, it's hard to believe, but as of today, McKenzie is officially
registered for Kindergarten. It seems like only yesterday she
was born. I can still remember that day so clearly. She's very
excited about starting school, and of course has already made
quite the impression on the front desk ladies. I'm hoping that
when she does start school, I won't cry. That'll be a hard day!!
She's such a good girl. She's very sweet and is really a big helper. She's hit a dramatic stage in life, and I'm hoping that it'll pass. However, despite that, I love her very much! I can't believe she's not my little baby anymore.

... are pleased to announce that Sydney Jean Moak will be joining our family the end of July! We actually thought we were having a boy, due to the pregnancy being exactly the same as Branson's. The girls' pregnancies were the same, but obviously Heavenly Father wanted another little girl to come to us. We are very excited, although we were surprised when we first found out. I think I was being blessed with the easy pregnancy, not being sick and all, because of having three kids. I know there are women out there that have more kids than I have, and are sick pregnant, but I believe Heavenly Father knew that I wouldn't be able to handle that. My due date is the beginning of August, but my doctor said that it would be okay for me to go a couple of weeks early, due to my kids being, well, real healthy. Okay, okay, BIG!! Anyway, we are excited for another little girl.

Actually, I already know the answer. I am!! Child #4, here we come! I'm not sure when I'm due yet, but my somewhat educated case, (only from being pregnant 3 times before), would be end of August/ beginning of September. We're really thrilled and we're hoping for a boy. One, because we want Branson to have a brother, and two, I'm not sick like it was with the girls. I'm only tired. Wish us luck!!

Since moving into our house, Brandon & I have become a little bit lazy. It's a two story house and there's a railing that is upstairs that opens up the house a bit. Anyway, we've been throwing things up there, instead of taking like 20 trips up the stairs. Then we can go up once and put everything away. Anyway, on Sunday, Brandon lost a muscle or something and didn't quite make the throw far enough to have my high heel make it past the railing. While I was looking down,(thank goodness) the high heel landed on my head and gave me a bump about 1 1/2 in. in length. The good news is that you can't see it too well because it's hidden by hair. I think Brandon is happy because then there'd be too many questions and then he'd feel bad. Maybe once I can find my little cord thingamajigger that will transfer pics from my camera to my computer, I can show you my head. What a headache!!!

I hope that everyone is sitting down while reading this since I'm actually writing a post. (Actually, I'm sure everyone is sitting down because they're at a computer) Anyway, life has been EXTREMELY hectic lately! In case people didn't know, we have moved! So since July (which is also been our last post before this one), we've been busy getting ready and packing and all that fun stuff, plus throw in a vacation for the kids and me and that is why I haven't been posting. My goal is to be unpacked by the end of the year, and for those of you laughing, it's not funny! It's real hard trying to unpack with three kids! Especially with Branson because he is not quite adjusted to the move I think. There will be more to come although I can't say when the next time will be!!!

Amber and I were at the mall today and had gone into a store to check something out. Next thing I knew, McKenzie was laying on the floor, and some customers were laughing and saying how cute she was. I walked more closely to find McKenzie modeling, just like the lady in the picture. She's gonna make us a ton of money someday!

Outing

Today I took the kids, along with Amber & Camryn, to the mall. Branson needed his 6 month pictures taken, and Camryn needed newborn pictures taken. Branson is smiles 90% of the time he's awake, but when it comes to getting professional pictures taken, he doesn't even come close to smiling. It sure did wear him out though!!

After pictures, we went to Krispy Kremes Doughnuts. YUMMY!! Who do YOU think enjoyed their doughnut more?

I hope all mother's had a great day yesterday! I woke up to a breakfast of biscuits and gravy! YUMMY!!! McKenzie made the gravy practically by herself! The girls showered me with hugs and kisses and lots of "Happy Mother's Day!" I also had a bunch of flowers waiting for me. Brandon surprised me last night with a water massage machine. I love it! When it was time to get ready for church, McKenzie kept saying, "It's not Sunday, it's Mother's Day." It was too cute. Thank you to a wonderful family! I love you!!

Okay, so in just a few months, some of my family members are going to CA to visit some relatives. I'll be taking the kids, while Brandon is kicking it here at home. The plan is to take the kids to Disneyland for a day or two, but of course money is real tight, especially with student loan payments being made. So here I am, trying to find ways to earn money so the kids can have a little fun. Does anyone have any ideas or odd jobs that I could do to earn some cash? Perhaps teaching piano lessons, making hair bows, watching a little one, cleaning bathrooms, cleaning kitchens, dusting, etc...

Child #3 Again?

When I first started "blogging", my second post was entitled Child #3 and stated that we were going to be updating our family picture and instead of me just being pregnant with him, he'd actually be in the picture. Anyway, as you can clearly tell, we haven't changed our picture. We got our family picture taken, but we've been so busy, we haven't purchased them yet, so we haven't changed the picture. I hope to do it before the end of the year!! =)

Growing Up TOO Fast!

Okay, so Branson is growing too fast. He's 6 months old and here's what's been happening since 4 months. He got his first two teeth at 4 months. He started rolling at 4 months tummy to back and back to tummy. At 5 months, he started rice cereal. His top two teeth are almost here. You can almost feel them. At 6 months, he started baby food. He also started crawling at 6 months AND he's pulling himself up. YIKES!! He's going to be walking real soon! Watch out girls! We just love having Branson in our family. He' such a blessing. The girls just love him and they love playing with him. Here are some pictures of Branson from birth to 6 months! Enjoy!

A Family Fun Day

In our house, we don't get many days to just have fun as a family. We decided to do it and we had such a blast. We went to Superstition Springs mall to ride the new carousel, but of course, it wasn't opening until the week after. The girls wanted to run around outside in the amphitheater and that was real fun. After lunch, we ended up going to see Veggie Tales: The Pirates who don't do anything. We left half an our early from the movie because the girls lost interest. I guess we should have seen Alvin and the Chipmunks. Here are some pics from the amphitheater of our girls.

Okay, so I've noticed that mosquito hawks are everywhere!!! I think they're gross looking, but I've found it grosser to look at them mating! Last Thursday, Brandon, Anjane', Jordan, Amber, and I had the opportunity to witness such a sight right on our screen door. They were there for a couple of hours at least!!! Then, last night, I thought we had a different kind of insect on our screen window, but when I looked a little closer, they were two mosquito hawks going at it AGAIN!!

Brandon & I celebrated our 7 yr. wedding anniversary today! Although being a Sunday, we weren't able to go out anywhere, so we went out on Saturday. It's amazing to see how fast time goes by. I love him so much. It seems like yesterday we were married for time and all eternity! Thanks Brandon for asking me to be your wife!!

Testimony

The Sunbeams were given the opening exercises today and McKenzie was asked to share her testimony. Yesterday we asked her some of the things that she believed in and things she thought was true. We helped her with the "format" of the testimony, but it was the things that she believed that were said. She did such a great job! We are so proud of her!

Need I say more? Games are a big part of who we are. We love board games to card games to computer games to our Wii games. We play often with the Hiatts and also the Gallups. The picture of the board game is dedicated to Anjane'. This is one of her favorite games and we've NEVER gotten this close at the end of a game when we've played with her!

Last Tuesday was a very special day for McKenzie. She turned 4 yrs old! It's amazing to see how time goes by so fast! Although I can clearly remember the day that McKenzie was born, I'll spare you the details!! She is growing into a young lady too quickly. For McKenzie's birthday, we took her to Organ Stop Pizza, then came home, had cupcakes, and opened presents. She had her birthday party with some friends a few days later. They all dressed up, came to our townhouse and had pizza. Afterwards, we painted their toenails and fingernails, put on make up, did their hair and they all danced to the High School Musical 2 soundtrack. It was a lot of fun!
